DRT Logging the winter miles Print E-mail
2 more weeks of winter riding in the books. We have been able to log some descent saddle time considering the weather conditions. 2 weekends=12 hours of saddle time on the MTB. WE have had a good turnouts for the weekend rides of 5-6 attending, and hopefully now that the forecast is calling for some weather that is a bit more tame, we will have an increased attendance. As it stands we have explored some great back hills riding, trails, fireroads, and Gravel. We all have survived with no injury, and besides the wear and tear snow rides inflict on the equipment, I am ready to start laying a foundation for the early spring MTB races. Road season is right around the corner with racing kicking off in KY as early as 2nd week in February. MTb season will start in February as well with the SERCs in Florida, and TN, and working their way North Until the DINO and DRT series Kicks off in April. I am very excited about the upcoming season, the new memebrs of DRT, the new athletes I am helping, and the opportunity to watch the team grow and succeed. Enjoy every ride!
